Human Resources Intern
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assistant to the VP of People and Culture(HR) in all HR matters
- Works on and completes administrative duties for the organization’s human resources department
- Support internal and external inquiries and requests from the HR department
- Assisting with recruiting tasks and employee onboarding tasks
- Enter and manage sensitive employee data
- Ability to keep confidentiality for all sensitive personnel matters
- Analyze current HR processes and assist in creating standard operating procedures
- Assist in developing ideas to enhance company culture, HR policy, communication strategies, and employee programs
- Coordinate the new hire orientation and onboarding tasks
- Provide support in the new hire process paperwork, employee records, and employee files
- Complete verification of employment tasks
- Assist in the research and develop talent learning and development strategies
Requirement:
- Excellent speaking and listening skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal, relationship building and time-management skills
- Working on or completed a degree or certification with an HR emphasis is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects with excellent time management skills
- A creative thinker with excellent organizational skills who enjoys developing, refining, and facilitating processes and efficiencies
- Service-oriented
