Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assistant to the VP of People and Culture(HR) in all HR matters
  • Works on and completes administrative duties for the organization’s human resources department
  • Support internal and external inquiries and requests from the HR department
  • Assisting with recruiting tasks and employee onboarding tasks 
  • Enter and manage sensitive employee data 
  • Ability to keep confidentiality for all sensitive personnel matters
  • Analyze current HR processes and assist in creating standard operating procedures
  • Assist in developing ideas to enhance company culture, HR policy, communication strategies, and employee programs
  • Coordinate the new hire orientation and onboarding tasks
  • Provide support in the new hire process paperwork, employee records, and employee files
  • Complete verification of employment tasks 
  • Assist in the research and develop talent learning and development strategies

Requirement:

  • Excellent speaking and listening skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal, relationship building and time-management skills
  •  Working on or completed a degree or certification with an HR emphasis is a plus 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with excellent time management skills
  • A creative thinker with excellent organizational skills who enjoys developing, refining, and facilitating processes and efficiencies
  • Service-oriented
