Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assists department heads with staffing requirement need including posting open positions and sourcing candidates via digital job boards, and social media platforms.
  • Reviews applications/resumes; evaluates applicant skills and makes recommendations regarding applicant qualifications.
  • Assists in implementing recruitment and retention programs; assisting department heads in the development and implementation of programs designed to include staff engagement, recognition, and awards.
  • Initiates and conducts employee background checks, drug screens, and reference checks.
  • Assists with the company-wide employee of the month program (Star Performer).
  • Assist the department with any projects as needed.

Skills Needed:

  • Currently enrolled in an associate's or bachelor's program
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Experience utilizing social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn,
  • Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with various platforms including proficiently or ability to become proficient in Excel and Word.
