The successful candidate is motivated and eager to learn about Flight Test Engineering and tool development. In this role, the candidate must have a foundation of software engineering, enjoy problem solving and creating code to simplify or automate flight preparation and data analysis tools.

What you will do:

• Create new bespoke flight test tools to assist with flight planning and execution
• Define processes and procedures for flight test software tools including their development

Required Skills/Experience:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Programming skills in one or more of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python
• Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Comfortable with the Linux command line

Hourly rate will be $20 USD an hour.

 

This internship role will be based at Wisk's headquarters in Mountain View, California and relocation or housing will not be provided.

 

Must be able to work on-site in Mountain View, CA

Must be legally authorized to work in the US

Must live in the US at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins

Must be either a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college

Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, transcripts are required

Must be an enrolled student at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins

Must be able to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks (full-time for 3 months)
