Job Summary and Qualifications

The Care Transformation and Innovation (CT&I) intern will be a part of a step change in healthcare through a clinically led integration of data and AI technologies into care. The CT&I intern will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goal by actively solving for and implementing a broad range of data science solutions to drive transformational change. HCA, the nation’s leading provider of healthcare services, is looking for high potential talent to support its vision to transform the healthcare industry. The company is comprised of locally managed facilities which include more than 185 hospitals and 119 freestanding surgery centers in 21 U.S states and England, employing over 260,000 employees. Based in Nashville, TN, HCA is on the forefront of integrating technology for the purposes of transforming the way we care for patients.  

Solve and Implement Data Science Solutions in one of the following areas:  

  • Computer Vision
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP) / Large Language Models (LLMs) 
  • Forecasting and Optimization / Simulation 
  • MLOPS  
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement” 
  • Typical work week hours can vary depending on workload and project deliverables 


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
