Job Description:
Intel's Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) organization hires talented software engineers to create, develop, test, and support factory automation systems that enable Intel to manufacture leading edge semiconductors. As a Software Intern within TD ATA, you will partner with other software engineers on development and validation of quality, reliable software systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Designing and developing applications, developing databases, enabling automated software testing, and executing regression test cases.The ideal candidate should exhibit the ideal behavioral traits:- Passion for technology and software- Effective written and oral communication skills- Analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills- Teamwork and partnership skills- Demonstrate tolerance of ambiguity and self-motivation- Flexibility to work in a dynamic, tolerance for continuous changing environment multi-tasking several projects/issues at a time. This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration which will be a minimum of 3 months with possibility of extension.;Internship will take place in Summer- May 2024.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must be actively pursuing BS degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline. 6+ months of experience in the following: - C# programming language - Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio, .NET) - Object-oriented software design and development Preferred Qualifications: 3+ months of experience in the following: - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products, PowerPoint, Word, Project, etc. - Experience in software control systems and factory automation in a semiconductor factory automation environment. - Experience with agile project management and software version control tools such as JIRA and GitHub.
