THE ROLE

The Data Science Analytics Intern will assist in designing, building, and testing data platforms and analytics solutions to generate actionable insights for our customers.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Learn how to harness large volumes of data, such as traffic and user behaviors, to build pipelines that derive value from raw data for our customers.

  • Partner with our Data Intelligence Teams to determine the best approach around data ingestion, structure, and storage, then work with the team to ensure these are implemented accurately.

  • Contribute ideas on how to make our customers’ data more valuable and work with members of LNE Engineering Team to implement solutions.

  • Apply information literacy skills to a variety of scenarios to locate, evaluate, organize, and communicate information to support data-driven decision making.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited university/college and should be at least a rising junior or senior studying Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Technology, Data Analytics or a related
    1-2 years of work or volunteer experience preferably in financial data space

  • Passion for live music and entertainment industry.

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • Working knowledge of financial systems data using SQL and Python is a plus.

  • Strong desire for continuous learning and professional development

  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to balance multiple assignments at once

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
