THIS IS A HYBRID INTERNSHIP LOCATED IN HOLTSVILLE, NY. THE EXPECTATION IS AT LEAST 3 DAYS OF IN-OFFICE ATTENDANCE.
Responsibilities:
- Develops a test automation system that the team will use to create ephemeral development environments
- Designs a database to manage the resources owned by our team
- Implements backend web services for access to resources
- Creates frontend web UI for user access to the resources
- Manages resources and the underlying hardware
- Deploys resources to underlying hardware
- Increases technology knowledge and skills
- Develops planning, organizational and leadership skills
- Develops team-based work proficiencies
- Develops interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Computer Science or related field
- Must have an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and May 2027
- work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Experience with Linux or Unix operating system.
- Experience with a variety of programming languages, such as Java, Go, JavaScript, SQL, and/or bash scripting.
- Knowledge with platform infrastructure such as containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), networking, CI/CD tool chains
- Self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
- Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
