Scope of responsibilities:

The User Experience Research Intern will conduct research for end to end solutions for public safety and commercial customers across diverse areas.

Collaborate with other researchers to capture and synthesize insights to work with other designers to ideate, prototype and deliver designs.

Be someone that will approach the project as part of a greater strategy.

The User Experience Research intern is encouraged and expected to innovate and be creative in their approach and implementation.

Ability to collaborate effectively and work with the full range of user experience design professions as well as product management and software development.

Desired Skills/Experience:

Research planning: Understand business questions and design research plans into testable research goals, select appropriate research methodologies (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods), and create study plans.

Research tool proficiency: Practical, hands-on experience with common UX research tools, including qualitative and quantitative methodologies such as in-depth user interviews, concept and prototype testing, usability testing, heuristic evaluation, moderating focus groups, survey research.

Data analysis & synthesis: Organize data and translate research findings into actionable insights with attention to detail.

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma is required

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
