The Position

The Business Systems Analyst will be a co-op position within the Enterprise Data Architecture team. You will combine project management, analysis skills and communication for management of back-office activities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with peers, business partners, vendors, leaders, and IT teams to provide assistance as needed throughout the project life cycle to ensure the solutions meet the expectations of our business partners and clients.

• Manage communication across the architecture group.

• Actively partner with architects to collect, curate and manage high quality architectural documents, minutes and actions as part of the Data Architecture Chapter Model.

• Build and maintain successful relationships with members of the scrum team and our business partners.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Architecture practices.

Requirements

• Current student at a college or university, preferably in project management or Information Technology or Business Systems Analysis

• A good communicator, self-starter and self-motivated

• Has an understanding of technology space

• Understands software development life cycle.

• An eager individual who is client and results focused       

• A strong communicator who can speak and write clearly and concisely, an active listener who can interpret needs, and is able to document and present information in various formats and. support the team in learning about Scrum

• An analytical thinker with an aptitude for problem solving and interpreting information who can apply their awareness of various planning, analysis, elicitation, and documentation techniques to accurately gather and capture requirements

• A collaborative team member who constantly looks for ways to improve the client experience, our team, and our processes

• Have facilitation skills who can help the team have healthy discussions that both move the work forward and maintain a respectful and open team conversations
