The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy co-op/intern student to join our Procurement and Supply Chain team for an 8- to 12-month term. This role is ideal for a student with a passion for automation, data, and artificial intelligence who wants to make a tangible impact on how procurement processes are executed and optimized.
The successful candidate will support the development, customization, and deployment of AI-driven tools and automation solutions that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and strategic value of procurement and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, and IT teams to identify automation opportunities within procurement workflows.

Assist in the design, development, and deployment of AI tools (e.g., chatbots, document analyzers, predictive models) tailored to procurement and supply chain needs.

Customize existing AI solutions to align with internal processes and compliance requirements.

Support integration of AI tools with procurement platforms (e.g., ERP systems, internal management tools, price lists).

Conduct testing, validation, and performance monitoring of deployed solutions.

Document processes, user guides, and training materials for internal stakeholders.

Stay current with emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, and procurement automation.
Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology Management, or a related field.

Knowledge of Python, Power Automate, or other automation tools.

Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI, TensorFlow).

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

High attention to detail.

Ability to grasp and learn new concepts quickly.

Capable of working with minimal supervision.

Ability to work a 40-hour work week throughout the internship, following a hybrid work model with at least two days per week in the office.

Co-op student available for an 8–12 month term, with at least one additional quarter or semester of coursework remaining after the completion of the internship.

Previous co-op or internship experience is a plus.
