Data Scientist Intern, RevOps (Summer 2026, 8 Months)

  • 8 month work-term beginning May 2026.

The Position

As a Data Scientist Intern, your key areas of responsibility will be to assist with ad hoc data analyses, maintain & monitor predictive models,  and use Geotab’s internal AI tools to assist with business needs. You will need to work closely with Geotab’s Revenue Generation Data teams and their stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist teammates and stakeholders with data answers to important business questions.
  • Improve and maintain existing machine learning models.
  • Provide useful AI analyses and automation on big business data.

Requirements

  • Completing a STEM, Computer Science, Math, Business Analysis or similarly related technical degree.
  • Confidence with tackling SQL and data analysis tasks.
  • Experience with Python programming and machine learning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize patterns and change processes.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills, as well as a willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
  • Enthusiastic, creative, self-motivated, with the ability to work with various departments across Geotab.
