The Position

We are seeking motivated Software Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology solutions, grow your expertise in the radar domain, and engage in potential travel to support radar site operations. This position offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where you can make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Scrum teams to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot radar software solutions.
  • Assist in the requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.
  • Contribute to the development of new work products or enhance existing applications and systems.
  • Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions in C++ and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
  • Participate in technical reviews of software components and systems.
  • Follow established Agile/Scrum development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products.
  • Support radar site operations through travel opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming in C++.
  • Experience or coursework in software development.
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development life cycle practices.
  • Experience or coursework in Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git or similar tools).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies through coursework or internships.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to produce technical documentation.
  • Desire to learn new technologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong interest in problem solving and software troubleshooting.
