The Position
As a Software Engineering Intern on the Product Engineering team at Harvey, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers on projects that power our AI products. You’ll collaborate with our AI, Legal, and GTM teams to help build secure, intuitive systems that deliver real value to our customers.
Responsibilities

Contribute to features that enable retrieval over large-scale document collections

Help design and implement intuitive interfaces for collaboration with AI systems

Support systems that manage compute resources (including GPUs) across regions

Contribute to intelligent agents that assist enterprises with complex planning and workflows

Implement and test components of secure infrastructure for sensitive customer data and workflows

Experiment with and evaluate cutting-edge LLMs across diverse task categories, with guidance from senior engineers

Collaborate with your mentor and team on code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation
Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field, with an expected graduation date between Fall/Winter 2026 and Spring 2028.

Ability to work from our San Francisco office during May-September (based on your summer schedule) of the internship; relocation and housing support will be available.

Solid programming fundamentals in one or more languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Go, or similar).

Prior experience from coursework, projects, or previous internships that demonstrates your ability to build and ship software.

Interest in building highly intuitive, product-focused software and collaborating closely with cross-functional partners.
