Responsibilities

• Special projects as the need arises

• Assist with preparation of year-end accounting adjustments under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

• Assist with preparation of year-end reporting packages, financial statements and note disclosures under IFRS and FRS101 (as issued by the UK Financial Reporting Council)

• Develop ideas for improving systems and efficiency of internal working papers (VBA, Power BI)

• Assist with addressing external audit requests

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a major or specialization in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics

• Experience with general Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Ability to perform data entry quickly and accurately

• Good interpersonal skills needed for team-based working

• Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment

• Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to address new challenges

• Must be eligible to work in Canada without employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice To Haves

Experience with VBA or Power BI is an asset
