The Position
Our Operational Due Diligence & Advisory team’s vision is to deliver comprehensive and best in-class Operational Due Diligence (ODD. The team’s objective is to design, implement and effectively manage ODD reviews in compliance with corporate procedures and the ODD framework.
Responsibilities

Provide assistance with the maintenance (data entry) of the operational due diligence database
-
Provide assistance with the implementation and maintenance of ODD processes using AI technology
-
Assist in collecting information included in the operational due diligence database from various sources (financial statements, due diligence reports, public sources, etc.)

Conduct research on key platforms/sites (ex. SEC site)

Review financial statements and extract key information for analysis

Review checklists to ensure information is included / updated

Compile list of specific data points from various files for improved analysis

Provide assistance in the operational due diligence process to ensure compliance with internal procedures and guidelines
Requirements
-
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study

High academic standing

Knowledge of financial products and markets

High proficiency with MS Office tools (including Excel)

Excellent analytical skills

Ability to work independently on all aspects of a project and to work collaboratively within a team

Effective communications skills, both written and spoken

Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
