The Position
The Finance team is responsible for financial reporting, tax and compliance, collections, financial Planning & analysis, treasury and capital management.
Responsibilities
- Assist and coordinate with Accounts Payable processing
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis as required
- Provide administrative support to the Collection function
- Help support the monthly accounting cycle through preparation of reconciliations, analysis, and preparation of the month-end entries as required
- Support Finance projects and engage in system testing
Requirements
- To be considered for this summer employment opportunity, students must be actively enrolled in a program at an accredited institution such as a public university or community college
- Applicants must be returning to their study program for a minimum of one (1) semester upon completion of the summer employment opportunity
- Working towards a Finance or Accounting degree
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook and Word) is required

- Knowledge of accounting is an asset
- Detail orientated and strong organizational skills is an asset
