The Position

As a Procurement Intern, you will gain immersive experience in the procurement lifecycle within the construction industry, including sourcing, tendering, contract support, supplier coordination, and cost tracking. 

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and issuing purchase orders for construction materials and equipment 

• Support sourcing, comparison, and evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors 

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. 

• Assist in evaluating supplier performance (quality, reliability, competitiveness). 

• Support tracking of invoices, receipts, and procurement budget monitoring. 

• Participate in cost analysis, forecast updates, and procurement reporting 

• Provide general administrative support to the procurement and project teams 

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, in Supply Chain, Construction Management, Business, or a related field. 

• Interest in the construction industry  

• Strong analytical and organisational skills 

• Good communication skills  

• Strong growth mindset and appetite for learning 

• Highly adaptable, comfortable with new challenges
