The Position

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Savannah River Site (SRS) is seeking students interested in environmental law or government contracting.  This opportunity will be sponsored by the DOE-SRS Office of Chief Counsel (OCC) and managed through the DOE Scholars Program.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to develop legal strategy and related legal support and report to DOE’s missions at SRS.
• Research legal and other topics and provide a concise summary of results to OCC attorneys. This project will give the Scholar an opportunity to complete a writing sample that will benefit future job seeking efforts.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen Only
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Doctoral Degree.
