The Position
A policy research internship at Sutherland Institute is a 24-hour-per-week, paid position. Policy research interns conduct research on relevant public policy issues under the supervision of Sutherland Institute’s policy team.
Responsibilities
• Quantitative and qualitative research and data analysis in policy areas including education, elections, religious freedom, economic opportunity and family policy.
• Assisting policy team members in producing written and visual content based on policy research
• Assisting with events or legislative efforts as needed
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Interest in public policy and/or non-profit organizations
• Interest in making a career in public policy research
• Current college student or recent graduate
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
